If you need the capacity to load a lot of wood in one run, the Elephant is the right machine for you. Long transport distances, challenging terrain, and steep slopes are no problem for the PONSSE Elephant. Like it’s name, this workhorse gets the job done easily in conditions which would be too challenging for many other machines.

Not even the toughest logger is immune to all the tremble and shocks that operating a forwarder unavoidably includes. We listened to our customers from all over the world and developed PONSSE Active Cabin to help them take care of their daily tasks without having to worry about unnecessary moments of pain.
PONSSE Active Crane offers a new way of controlling the loader and boosting efficiency. It is a system which the operator uses to control the grapple or harvester head movement instead of individual functions, allowing the operator to concentrate efficiently on loader work.
Thanks to automatically following the tip of the loader at work, PONSSE Active Seat provides a full view straight on the job, at all times. This results in a lot less head movement and need to take jolts, which significantly contributes to both driver well-being and operating efficiency.
The most spacious and comfortable cabin and the most ergonomic controls in the market guarantee the best working comfort.
The cabin can be equipped with PONSSE Seat. It is the first seat designed specifically for forest machines. This is why the special needs of forest machine operators have been addressed in its design. The seat and, in particular, its base are solid, the seat has diverse suspension adjustments and the whole package withstands heavy-duty operations for years without any impact.
As Elephant is a large machine, it must have a lot of power. And it certainly has. This machine’s engine has the highest power and the mightiest torque in the PONSSE model series, with incredibly low emissions.
The design of the frame focuses particularly on durability and ease of maintenance. The reliable frame oscillation lock equipped with hydraulic cylinders is solid and acts as a shock absorber when driving. In addition to reliability, the functional positioning and serviceability of components are typical characteristics of the structure.
The super-strong hydraulics and the K121 loader are designed for this heavy-duty machine. The strong crane with its precise feel makes working fast and productive. A machine of this size handles large loads, and the loader needs to be able to handle heavy stress. The K121 loader has been designed and built to last.
PONSSE traction assistance winch helps achieving high productivity in steep ground operations. It allows operating the same machines in flat and steep work sites with no need for additional machinery or methods. PONSSE Synchrowinch preserves soil from rutting and erosion, saves fuel and reduces stress in drive transmission components.
