Privacy Policy

LRespecting your privacy is of the utmost importance to Hydromec Inc.

The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you of the practices adopted with respect to personal or confidential information concerning you or your company.

Data exchanged automatically

When you access this website, your computer and our server automatically exchange data. This exchange is necessary for the server to send you a file that is compatible with the computer equipment you are using. The data exchanged is as follows:

The identification of your Internet access provider;
your IP address (a numerical address that allows you to precisely locate a computer connected to the Internet, for example: 123.45.67.890);
the type of browser (for example: Firefox, Explorer) and operating system (for example: Windows, Mac OS) that you are using;
the pages you visit;
the date and time you access these pages;
the address of the referring site, if you access this site from another website.

Most of the information automatically transmitted between computers does not allow us to know your identity. It is only collected due to technological requirements inherent to Internet browsing.

Hydromec inc. keeps this data for statistical purposes. They are used to count the number of visits and to know the most visited pages, the technology used by visitors, the addresses of referring sites and the country of origin of visitors.

Use of cookies

Cookies are used to facilitate navigation on the pages of this service. These cookies do not collect personal information about you. You can set your browser to block cookies at any time. However, this action may deprive you of certain functions offered on the site.

If you are using a computer in a public place or sharing a computer with other users, be sure to erase traces of your browsing stored in the history before ending each session.

Use of Google Analytics

Hydromec Inc. uses Google Analytics, a web audience measurement tool, on this site.

Using cookies, Google Analytics collects information about your browsing on this site, which is stored on servers located in the United States. Google may communicate this information to third parties in the event of a legal obligation or when these third parties process the data on its behalf.

The information collected by the tool is, for example, the pages you visit, the date, time, duration and frequency of your visits, as well as the links you click on. The type of operating system on your computer and its language, the name of your Internet service provider and your geographic location (region) are also part of the information collected. Your IP address is also collected, but it is anonymized (truncated) to ensure the confidentiality of information about you. Anonymizing an IP address prevents the identity of an Internet user from being known by means of it.

Google only uses the information collected to produce statistics and reports on navigation on this site, which allows Hydromec inc. to improve its electronic service delivery. Google will not, under any circumstances, link the information collected on this site with any other data it stores.

If you wish, you can prevent Google from recording information relating to your navigation by installing the browser add-on for deactivating Google Analytics on your computer.

Hotjar

Hotjar is an analytics and feedback tool that provides additional insights into user behavior. Hotjar records user movements, such as mouse-overs, mouse-overs, clicks, and engagement with interactive elements on the web page. It also provides contextual surveys and comment boxes. Hotjar masks form entries that may contain sensitive data, such as passwords, so that they do not appear in recordings of user behavior. Hotjar uses a unique identifier to track users across browser sessions, but does not store full IP addresses.

Personal Data Collected: Cookies and Usage Data

Place of processing: European Union

For more information, please see Hotjar’s privacy policy. You can also opt-out of Hotjar’s collection of your data. (Please note that Hotjar does not track or record users’ behavior if they have disabled cookies.)
