Reporting to the Workshop Manager – Welding, Machining, and Cylinders, the successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating various conventional machine tools to manufacture high-precision parts that meet strict quality standards, while adhering to production deadlines and occupational health and safety regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Machining operations: Set up and operate conventional machine tools to manufacture parts according to technical specifications and established quality standards
Blueprint reading and interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings to produce parts that meet design requirements.
Quality control: Verify the conformity of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality.
Deadline management: Organize and plan work to meet deadlines and optimize production time.
Equipment maintenance: Perform basic maintenance on conventional machine tools and report any need for repair or servicing.
Safety compliance: Work in strict accordance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

REQUIREMENTS
Education: Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Machining Techniques or equivalent training
Experience: 3 to 5 years.
Languages:
- Spoken French: Advanced
- Written French: Intermediate
- English: Beginner (an asset)
