Reporting to the Workshop Manager - Welding, Machining, and Cylinders, the successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating various conventional machine tools to manufacture high-precision parts that meet strict quality standards, while adhering to production deadlines and occupational health and safety regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Machining operations: Set up and operate conventional machine tools to manufacture parts according to technical specifications and established quality standards

• Blueprint reading and interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings to produce parts that meet design requirements.

• Quality control: Verify the conformity of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality.

• Deadline management: Organize and plan work to meet deadlines and optimize production time.

• Equipment maintenance: Perform basic maintenance on conventional machine tools and report any need for repair or servicing.

• Safety compliance: Work in strict accordance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
