Hydromec inc., a growing company, is looking for a Parts Clerk for its Quebec branch to join a passionate and dedicated team committed to fostering an inclusive, safe and employee-focused work environment

Reporting to the Branch Director, the successful candidate will play a key role within our dynamic team. You will be responsible for parts supply, order management and customer support, while contributing to the smooth flow of operations and delivering outstanding customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Service and parts supply: Provide customers and shop employees with parts and components while ensuring their needs are met efficiently.

  • Fabrication: Perform hydraulic hose assembly according to customer specifications and established procedures.

  • Order management: Prepare quotations, create customer orders and follow up through delivery.

  • Logistics: Receive ordered products and materials, ensure accurate entry into the computer system, and process shipments in accordance with Hydromec standards.

  • Data entry: Enter billing information into the computer system accurately and efficiently.

  • Inventory management: Enter pending purchase orders into the system, monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages to the supervisor.

  • Inventory control: Ensure inventory accuracy and update product technical records.

  • Health and safety: Follow and apply occupational health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: DEP in industrial mechanics, heavy equipment, or mechanical parts and accessories sales, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years.

  • Languages:

    • Spoken French: Advanced
    • Written French: Intermediate
    • English: Intermediate (an asset)
