Hydromec Inc., a growing company, is looking for a Service Clerk to join its passionate and committed team at the Dolbeau-Mistassini branch. Our team is dedicated to creating an inclusive, safe, and employee-focused work environment.

Reporting to the Mechanical Workshop Manager, the Service Clerk will be responsible for providing administrative support related to customer project management, invoicing, and updating technical files. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail to help optimize service operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administrative Services: Prepare service bulletins and produce various reports.

  • Customer Project Management: Open, close, and follow up on customer projects.

  • Work Time Validation: Verify and validate technician work hours for billing purposes.

  • Billing Support: Assist the mechanical, machining, welding, and cylinder departments with service billing.

  • Warranty Management: Assist the warranty manager in preparing claims and managing parts returns to manufacturers.

  • Report Analysis and Production: Prepare and analyze daily reports to track operations.

  • Equipment Tracking: Help update service and repair histories in the computer system.

  • Inventory Management: Assist in updating customer equipment inventories.

  • Business Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing diligent file follow-up

  • Filing and Archiving: File and archive documents in customer and equipment files.

  • Other Related Tasks: Perform any other tasks supporting service operations.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent learning and information retention ability.
  • Strong organizational and structuring skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness, and strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and precision.
  • Bilingualism (advanced French, intermediate English) is an asset.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND BENEFITS

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or College Diploma (DEC) in Administration, Office Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience: 0 to 2 years.

  • Languages:

    • Spoken French: Advanced
    • Written French: Intermediate
    • English: Intermediate (an asset)
