Hydromec Inc., a growing company, is looking for a Parts Clerk to join its passionate and committed team at the Dolbeau-Mistassini branch. Our team is dedicated to creating an inclusive, safe, and employee-focused work environment.

Reporting to the Parts Director, the Parts Clerk will be a key member of our dynamic team. You will play an essential role in parts procurement, order management, and customer support, helping to ensure smooth operations while providing outstanding customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Service and Supply: Supply customers and shop employees with parts and components, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.

  • Fabrication: Assemble hydraulic hoses according to customer specifications while following established manufacturing procedures.

  • Order Management: Prepare quotes, create customer orders, and follow up until delivery is completed.

  • Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently input billing data into the computer system.

  • Inventory Management: Enter purchase order requests into the system, monitor inventory levels, and report shortages to the supervisor.

  • Inventory Accuracy: Ensure inventory accuracy and update technical product sheets as needed.

  • Health and Safety: Comply with and apply occupational health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND BENEFITS

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Industrial Mechanics, Heavy Equipment Mechanics, or Parts and Accessories Sales, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years

  • Languages:

    • Spoken French: Advanced
    • Written French: Intermediate
    • English: Intermediate (an asset)
