Quebec-based Hydromec Inc. celebrated its 50th anniversary on Saturday, November 8, at its Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures branch, in the presence of nearly 500 guests, including clients, partners, suppliers, families, and employees from the company’s four branches.<\/p>\n

This celebratory evening marked the conclusion of two open house days held on November 7 and 8, during which visitors were able to discover the modern facilities of the Quebec City branch and meet the Hydromec teams, as well as their manufacturing partners, including Ponsse, A.L.P.A. \u00c9quipement (Landrich), and ELTEC.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis 50th anniversary represents much more than a milestone: it is recognition of the work and passion of everyone who has contributed to building Hydromec since 1975,\u201d said Jean Trottier, President of Hydromec. \u201cWe are proud of what we have accomplished and determined to continue this collective adventure with the same rigor and passion.\u201d<\/p>\n

About Hydromec<\/strong><\/p>\n

Founded in 1975 in Dolbeau-Mistassini by Marcel Trottier, Hydromec Inc. is a Quebec-based company specializing in the sale, maintenance, and repair of heavy forestry, construction, and material handling equipment.<\/p>\n

Recognized for its expertise and quality of service, it distributes the Ponsse, Landrich, Fuchs (A Terex Brand), ELTEC, and Hyundai Construction Equipment brands.<\/p>\n

Hydromec now has more than 80 employees and four branches located in Amos, Chicoutimi, Dolbeau-Mistassini and Quebec City, and remains an essential reference in the field of heavy equipment in Quebec.<\/p>\n
